How I Know You
Love/Fear No. 101
Every poem in Hearts on the Line stems from an anonymous person graciously answering two questions: “What is my greatest love?” and “What is my greatest fear?” The rest is just my poetry…
Life Is a Word, and Love Is a Sentence. Somewhere, beneath the skin and ribs. Somewhere, there’s a sense. A sense of gratitude for nothing else than being. I watch this sense pass through the places people are. I watch it pass the sighs and sorrows that threaten to imprison. That sense. That sense. It carries me through life, and all depends on what you know it by. I know my teardrops by their warmth. I know the sky by golden light. I know your face by your own sense that passes through the worst of you. Thank You to the Human Spirit…
I would be grateful if you shared your own love and fear on this link…
It’s anonymous and could lead to the next poem!
